Wordpress Setting the Standard?

So,
If you’ve noticed, ever since Wordpress 1.5 introduced their admin center,
a lot of scripts have conformed to this similar pattern.
One very noticable change was phpBB3 incorporating tabs with sub-options.
Now, MyBB is also following suit with MyBB 1.4 using tabs and sub-options.
There are several other scripts with a similar interface, like PixelPost, and several others
That I can’t recall the name of >.<
They may not look similar at first, but if you notice, they all have a familiar feeling to them.
The admin panels may be conforming to a similar face, but I wonder who will be the
first to deviate and bring something even better.
Maybe one that reads your mind?
I wonder if some hosts will follow and change there’s to a similar feeling.
But the admin panel seems to only work for content administration, not server management.
